About

Hi, I’m Laraina, a fourth-generation canner with roots in South Louisiana and a passion for bold, unforgettable flavors! Mountain Girl Pickles began in Nederland, CO, where I first crafted pickled veggies for the restaurant’s world-famous Bloody Marys. It was here that I shared my family’s tradition of pickling, with a recipe perfected over generations. Soon, customers were asking to buy my pickles, and in 2014, Mountain Girl Pickles officially launched with an expanding lineup: from Pickled Okra and Green Beans to Pickled Garlic and Brussel Sprouts.

We’ve grown from local farmers' markets to store shelves across Colorado, bringing our unique blend of seasonings and locally sourced, seasonal produce to more tables than ever. I work with local farms to ensure our ingredients are as fresh as they are flavorful, and our pickles have become a must-have addition to meals, gatherings, and memories.

Mountain Girl Pickles reflects a family tradition with a touch of Louisiana flavor. While our pickles are packed with bold, Cajun-inspired taste, they’re perfectly balanced—not too spicy! People often say our pickles remind them of their grandparents’ recipes, bringing a taste of home, joy, and nostalgia with every bite.

Enjoy, share, and remember—everything’s better pickled!
