Mountain Girl Pickle Products: Return and Refund Policy
At Mountain Girl Pickle Products, we are dedicated to crafting delicious, high-quality pickled goods. Due to the perishable and consumable nature of our products, our return policy is designed to ensure food safety and fairness.
1. General Return Policy (Non-Faulty Products)

All sales of food items are final.

We do not accept returns or offer refunds, exchanges, or store credit for products simply because of a change of mind, personal preference, or failure to meet specific taste expectations.
2. Refunds and Replacements for Damaged or Faulty Products
We take full responsibility for products that are damaged or flawed upon arrival. If your pickles arrive in one of the following conditions, you are eligible for a replacement or a full refund:
A. Shipping Damage

If a jar is broken, cracked, or leaking when it arrives.
B. Product Fault / Safety Concern

If a jar arrives with a compromised seal (i.e., the lid "pops" open easily without resistance).

If the product is visibly spoiled (e.g., mold present, off-coloration) upon opening and before the best-by date.

If the product received does not match the product ordered.
3. Reporting a Problem (Required Steps)
To receive a refund or replacement for damaged or faulty goods, you must notify us within three (5) days of receiving your order.
Please follow these steps:

Provide Order Information: Include your Order Number and a brief description of the issue.

Provide Proof: Crucially, you must attach clear photographs that show at least one or more of the following:

The damaged shipping box (if applicable).

The damaged jar(s), clearly showing the crack, leak, or compromised seal.

The product label shows the best-by date.

4. Processing Refunds and Replacements

Once your claim and photographic evidence are reviewed and approved by our mountain girl pickles team, we will notify you of the next steps.

For a Replacement: We will ship an identical replacement product to you at no additional cost within 5-10 business days.

For a Refund: A full refund will be processed and applied to your original method of payment. Please allow 15 business days for the credit to appear on your statement.
5. Non-Returnable Items
Due to food safety regulations, we will never ask you to ship back a damaged or opened food product. Do not return the faulty jar to us.
